Dr. Abdelqawy Hendawy Lecturer of Obstetrics & Gynecology | Fetomaternal Ultrasound Fellow | Infertility Specialist Dr. Abdelqawi is a committed Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over a decade of progressive experience in clinical practice, academic teaching, and subspecialty training. He currently serves as a Lecturer of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Al-Azhar University, blending clinical expertise with a strong academic foundation in women's health, high-risk obstetrics, and infertility. He obtained his MBBCh in 2013 from Al-Azhar University, followed by a Master’s degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2018 and a Doctorate (MD) in 2023. He also holds a Diploma in Fetomaternal Ultrasound from Cairo University (2022) and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) at the International Islamic Center of Population Studies and Researches (IICPSR), Al-Azhar University. Dr. Abdelqawi has held multiple academic and clinical posts, including Assistant Lecturer and currently Senior Fellow in Fetomaternal Ultrasound at Cairo University since 2019. His surgical expertise spans diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, instrumental deliveries, and management of obstetric emergencies. He also has wide experience in infertility evaluation and treatment, with a strong background in ultrasound-based folliculometry and pelvic assessment. In parallel with his academic work, Dr. Abdelqawi has served as a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Italian Hospital (Umberto I) since 2020 and previously worked with the Ministry of Health from 2018 to 2020. He plays a key role in training undergraduate students and junior doctors through lectures, clinical rounds, and surgical mentoring.
